Durch seine Gelform haftet Microbe-Lift Gel Filter wahrscheinlich besser an groben Filtermaterialen, wie z.B. an Schaumstoff, als die flüssigen Produkten von JBL, Tetra & Co. Nachteil ist, dass es keinen Hinweis auf Dosierung gibt. Natürlich ist die Dosierung von Filtermaterial abhängig, aber es sollte wenigstens 1-2 Dosierungsbeispiele geben.
