Ich verwende die Paste seit mehreren Jahren als Alternative zu gefrorenen Mückenlarven oder Lebendfutter, da ich auf rote Mückenlarven allergisch reagiere. Die einzelnen Portionen sind klein genug, dass man, je nach Aquariumgröße, zur Abwechslung auch verschiedene Sorten kombinieren kann. Je nach dem wie fest man auf den Beutel drückt, bleibt die Paste an der Wasseroberfläche oder sinkt auf den Boden. Die Paste löst sich außerdem nicht schnell auf, so dass man mal längere Stränge und mal kleine Klumpen fabrizieren kann. So füttere ich z.B. gezielt die Oberflächenfische oder die Prachtschmerlen und Welse. Gerade bei letzteren kommt die Paste sehr gut an - zumindest ist sie stets sehr schnell "aufgeschlürft".
