The Tropic Marin Elimi-Control Carbon is a controllable filter system with centrifugal pump which eliminates yellow tint and other organic aquarium pollutants. Yellow tint and other pollutants adversely affect the living conditions in aquaria. Water that is free of a yellow tint lets light penetrate unfiltered. Corals, plants and fish benefit from the improved light penetration and will exhibit their natural colours. The Tropic Marin Elimi-Control Carbon filter system eliminates yellow tint and other pollutants extra efficiently and gently.Discoloring organics substances are compounds that occur in minor concentrations in every aquarium on a daily basis, yet they can accumulate and reach detrimental concentrations over a long period of time. The Tropic Marin Elimi-Control Carbon filter system can be used anywhere in the aquarium or in the filtering sump. It is completely independent of other filtering systems and can fit in a concealed area because of is compact, space-efficient design. The adsorption media is easily changed: simply replace the depleted cartridge with a new Elimi-Control Carbon filter cartridge and the systems full efficiency is restored. The filter system is designed for aquariums holding up 600 l net of water. The Tropic Marin Elimi-Control Carbon filter system can be expanded with the special additional cartridges to fit large aquariums of any size.

Use the Tropic Marin Additional Cartridge Elimi-Control Carbon to increase the capacity of the Tropic Marin Elimi-Control Carbon filter system for aquariums with volumes of more than 600 l and for aquariums with extremely high levels of contamination. Use it also to expand a filter system to get a combination phosphate/discoloring organic substances in tanks with volumes up to 600 l if both phosphate level and discoloring organic substances need to be reduced simultaneously. Set up as an application as a bypass filter for an existing filtration system.

The Carbolitreactor is a compact chemical filtration chamber for aquarium use. It can be installed in-line with any standard canister filter or use with a separate pump. The carbolitreactor contains one liter of pH neutral carbolit. It can be used for fresh- and seawater aquaria. One filling lasts, depending on the load and use, for between 10 days (removal of medications) up to 12 months (for long term use as biological filter) in a 400 l aquarium.technical data:
