Sera Tremazol (formerly Moneol) is a ready-to-use solution to fight parasitic flatworm infections with aquarium fish. The drug ensures quick therapeutic success and is well tolerated by the fish. General signs of an infection with parasites are scratching against decorative objects in the aquarium, jammed fins, rapid breathing, feeding reluctance and slimming, reduced mobility, and darkening of colours. If the fish are affected by gill worms they breathe rapidly, in some cases one gill cover is raised more than the other one. An infection with skin worms is typically diagnosed by the fish holding back the tail fin and scrubbing against decorative objects in the aquarium. In case of tapeworm and scale worm infections the fish usually lose weight. If possible, it is recommended to have the diagnosis secured by a microscopic examination of smears of the skin or gills or of fish excrements.If the fish are affected by gill worms add 1 ml Sera Tremazol per each 15 litres of tank water. Pour the substance from the dosing mug into the water spreading it all over the surface and stir it quickly by means of a spoon or stick. At least 80% of the water must be replaced about 8 hours after the treatment. If the water gets dull before, do the water change immediately. Carry out a second treatment with subsequent water change after 8 days. Two treatments each will be necessary to cure gill worms, as these parasites produce eggs in which the embryos cannot be reached by the pharmaceutical substances. The second treatment hits the then hatched worms, too. In case of skin worm, tapeworm and scale worm infections give 1 ml Sera Tremazol per each 20 litres of water into the tank. A single treatment will be sufficient for skin worms, which do not produce eggs, and for tapeworms and scale worms. At least 80% of the water must be replaced about 6 hours after the treatment. Tremazol was formerly known as Alpha-Biocare Moneol.

General signs of an infection with parasites are feeding reluctance and slimming, reduced mobility, jammed fins, darkening of colours and scratching against decorative objects in the aquarium.
- Small white spots on the fins and the body surface of the fish are characteristic symptoms of the white-spot disease (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, shortly called Ich).
- Whitish-grey mucus indicates that the fish are affected by the bean-shaped flagellates (Ichthyobodo or Costia).
- A whole lot of other parasites (such as the heart-shaped ciliates Chilodonella and Trichodina) affect mostly weakened fish.
- White cotton-like tufts, particularly on wounded areas of fish or spawn are typical for fungal diseases (Saprolegnia or Achlya). If possible, it is recommended to have the diagnosis secured by a microscopic examination of smears. Use and dosage: Add 1ml of Sera Protazol per each 20 litres of aquarium water. For freshwater only. Protazol was formerly known as Alpha-Biocare Ciliol.

Sera Flagellol is a very effective remedy agianst intestinal parasites (Spirunucleus/Hexamita) and hole-in-th-head disease in the freshwater aquarium. Aquarists who keep discus fish and other large cichlids know the problem: Whitish, slimy fish waste, darkening and lesions in the head region, known as hole-in-the-head disease. The cause of these obvious symptoms: Flagellates from the genera Spironucleus and Hexamita that dwell in the intestines. From now on, aquarists have with sera Flagellol a highly effective treatment against these dangerous pathogens at hand: sera med Professional Flagellol is very well tolerated and not only safely and reliably removes all parasites in the fish intestines, but also in their encapsulated stadiums (cysts).Background: A new combination of active agents in sera Flagellol makes use of a thiazole and menadione, known as vitamin K3. The scientists from Heinsberg/Germany found out that this combination guarantees considerably better results than the single agents – both agents work synergistically when combined. The flagellates are reliably killed after only about 24 hours. Patent is already applied for the new active agent combination. Dosage for sera Flagellol:
Add 1 ml sera Flagellol per each 40 litres of aquarium water. Distribute the treatment on the watrer surface from the dosage cup while stirring it into the aquarium with a spoon or a staff. Aerate the aquarium well during the treatment, remove biological filters, switch off UV-lamps and do not filöter through active carbon. When the treatment with sera Flagellol is finished, a water change of at least 80% must be carried out after 3 days. By all means clean biological filters before putting them back into operation.
