JBL Solar Tropic

JBL Solar Tropic is the standard lighting for exceptional plant growth. Spectrum and colour temperature of 4000 K ideally meet the requirements of aquatic plants as shown in the plant spectral curve. Colour temperature of 4000 K corresponds to the average colour temperature of sunlight over the course of a day, or of light at approx. 10.00 a.m.. Provides ideal conditions for photosynthesis through full spectrum light, simulating sunlight and strongly inhibiting the growth of algae. Best colour reproduction through 1A colour reproduction index (very good). Shows the full brilliance of the natural colouring of plants and fish. Individual control of lighting conditions possible through combination with JBL Solar Natur or Solar Color. Service life of 10,000 hours.

JBL Solar Natur

JBL Solar Natur is a full-spectrum daylight tube for both fresh and marine water aquarium. Fish, invertebrates and plants display their full natural beauty because of the 1A colour reproduction. In Freshwater the tube produces the best possible light for fish and plants from sun-drenched waters e.g. rainbow fish, cichlids from Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika. It provides ideal conditions for photosynthesis through full spectrum light, simulating sunlight, and strongly inhibiting the growth of algae. In marine water the JBL Solar Natur promotes growth of higher marine algae and corals through full spectrum light, simulating sunlight, with 9000 K colour temperature. Individual control of lighting climate in freshwater possible by combining with JBL Solar Tropic or JBL Solar Color. Service life of 10,000 hours.

JBL Solar Color

JBL Solar Color increased blue and red fractions of the spectrum and enhance red and blue shades of fish and plants. Strong red and blue fractions with underlaying full spectrum stimulate chlorophyll synthesis and photobiological processes in the plants. It is recommended to use the JBL Solar Color in combination with the JBL Solar Natur or the JBL Solar Tropic. Please do not use this tube alone, because of the mor unwanted algae growth risk. Service life of 10,000 hours.

JBL Solar Marin Day

JBL Solar Marin Day promotes coral growth by increasing the blue fraction of the spectrum, preferred by zooxanthella. Coldwhite spectrum with a colour temperature of 15000 Kelvin and highter luminosity specially designed for lighting marine water aquariums. JBL Solar Marin Day provides corals and other invertebrates with the required light energy for ideal growth. The specially increased fraction of the spectrum from 400-500 nm provides ideal conditions for zooxanthella, essential for the growth of many corals and other invertabrates. Due to the high colour temperature of 15000 Kelvin, combination with blue fluorescent tube JBL Solar Marin blue is mainly superfluous. Service life of 10,000 hours.
