JBL Proflora pH Control is a device designed to mesaure and monitor the pH value in a freshwater or saltwater aquarium. The device features the convenience of modern digital technology, eliminating the risk of inadvertently cahnging set values by accidentally touching analogue dials. There are two adjustement options:
1. High initial pH values can be adjusted downwards
Downwards adjustement is desgined to control the CO² supply according to the pH value in freshwater aquariums. In order to achieve this, the desired pH level is set on the appliance. The appliance compares the pH value with the actual pH value of the aquarium. If this is higher than the set level, the appliance opens the CO² supply by means of a solenoid valve (not included) until the set level is reached, before closing the CO² supply again. If the pH value rises, the appliance opens the CO² supply once more etc. Similarly, the supply of CO² in lime reactors to saltwater aquariums can be controlled.2. Low initial pH values can be adjusted upwards
An example of upwards adjustment is, in the case of low initial levels, setting a high pH value leading to the addition of a pH-raising liquid via a dosing pump. The operation of a dosing pump depends on the pH value. technical data JBL Proflora pH Control:

JBL Proflora pH electrode is a high quality electrode for pH value measuring. This probe can be connected to th JBL Proflora pH Control unit or all other pH value measuring and regulating systems with BNC connector. The electrode is filled with gel and very sturdy. The electrode should be cleaned and calibrated regularly, this increases the life time significantly.

JBL buffer solution pH 4.0 is a standard buffer solution for calibrating pH electrodes. With this solution you can calibrate every pH electrode on the pH value 4.0. If you calibrate your ph electrode regularly, you will get everytime accurate measuring results.

JBL storage solution is for cleaning and storing pH and ORP electrodes. A electrode should never be stored dry, but every time stored, when not in use, in storage solution. The regularly cleaning of an ecelctrode increases their lifetime.
