The seal of the shaft duct is one of the most critical parts of rotary pumps. Most pump malfunctions are caused by poor seals and bearings. The ATK Magnetic Rotary Pump is permanently magnetically driven by means of a synchronic clutch. A permanently magnetic external rotor, powered by a normal electric motor, efficiently transmits rotational momentum to a permanently magnetic internal rotor.
