ab Aqua Medic T5 Reef Blue

Aqua Medic T5 Reef Blue is intended for use in salt water aquariums with the lamp emitting almost exclusively blue light in the spectrum between 400nm and 500nm, peaking at 420 nm. These wavelengths enhance the growth of many coral species. In addition, when combined with T5 Reef White 10K they give the aquarium a most natural appearance. Aqua Medic T5 Reef Blue stimulates the natural effluorescence of corals especially if the aquarium is illuminated exclusively with Reef Blue during a simulated dusk or dawn.

Aqua Medic T5 Reef White 10K is a bright white lamp with a colour temperature of 10,000 K. The lamp simulates tropical sunlight and is the ideal basic illumination for marine as well as freshwater aquaria. T5 Reef White 10K enhances the natural colours of the fish and brings the brightness of tropical daylight into the aquarium, so plants and corals really thrive. For saltwater aquariums, we recommend combining with T5 Reef Blue to increase the blue spectrum whilst for freshwater the combination of T5 Reef White 10K with T5 Plant Grow will enhance plant growth.

Aqua Medic T5 Plant Grow is a growth lamp for plants in freshwater aquariums. The lamp accentuates the red and blue parts of the spectrum. These wave lengths stimulate photosynthesis and so create excellent condition for luxuriant plant growth. In addition the colours in any fish with red pigmentations (e.g. Cardinal tetras) become more vibrant. It is recommended to combine the T5 Plant Grow with T5 Reef White, T5 Plant Grow gives the aquarium a brilliant natural appearance.
