The Fluval FX6 is a powerful and very comfortable external filter with a very large filtering volume. The performance data of this filter are impressive: 20 litres filter volume, 5.9 litres of biological filter volume, pump output: 3500 l/h with only 41 W power consumption for aquariums up to 1500 litres content. Nevertheless the filter is very compact and fits in olmost every aquarium cabinet. The Fluval FX6 has a ingenious self priming system. Only water and power on and the filter starts to pump. There is no need for priming or sucking. The Fluval FX series features a multi-functional utility valve drain at its base, making it possible to empty the canister and perform seamless water changes by draining and refilling water directly from it (and all without disturbing your setup or tank inhabitants). As an added bonus, convenient hosing clips, located on the filter lid, allows for simple storage of the hosing when not in use.

It's a beast.
You get about the same biological volume at the biggest model the competition do but you get about 3x more mechanical filtration. Really good design, with the motor at the bottom, it's pretty much impossible to have it air lock.

К магазину претензий нет, все четко и оперативно. При первом запуске (наполнении воды) течь из под соединения мотора к корпусу фильтра. Снял и заново поставил мотор, течь устранилась. Но когда включил его гул низкочастотный 60 дБ. и вибрация. Думал приработается как пишут на форумах. Спустя 4 дня решил глянуть ротор, и что вы думаете, заусенцы 5мм на пластиковой крыльчатке ротора размером с волос в каждом канале. Отдирал отверткой так как по другому никак. И теперь тишина 40 дБ. и вибрации вообще нет. Вот такой фильтр мне попался. Сейчас всё отлично, фильтром доволен...SERGEY L. at 12.10.2019:

Very powerful filter. I am very happy. It is quiet as well. My air pump (tetra) makes much more noise.I didn't buy this filter previously because I thought it would be too big at 40cm wide (diameter) to fit my cabinet.
In fact the 40cm refers to the filter at its widest (it sticks out at the bottom, as do the handles). It fits - just - (at an angle) into my cabinet which is only 34 cm at its narrowest.
