The concept of a pocket pH meter was first introduced in 1986 by Hanna Instruments. The HANNA pHep is the latest in this family of pocket size electronic meters for testing pH. A large LCD display is incorporated giving clear and precise readout of pH values measured. 2 point calibration using buffer solutions can be easily carried out at any time to maximise accuracy and for peace of mind. Designed to be used away from the laboratory, the electrode is protected within the case moulding and battery life is a useful 700 hours continuous use.
