| The advanced Tetra BB Bio filter balls are especially designed to be used with the Tetra external filter EX 600, EX 700 and EX 1200, but can also be used with all other external filters and filter systems. The Bio filter balls provide a large surface area of 62 cm² each bal for the growth of beneficial bacteria and therefore for the effectively biological filtration of the aquarium water.
