An ammonium value that is too high impairs the respiration and blocks vital biological functions in livestock with potentially devastating effects. With the Tropic Marin NH3/NH4 ammonia ammonium test, the ammonium concentration can be determined from 0.01 to 3 mg/1 and - with known pH-value - be converted to the ammonia concentration with the help of a chart.
