Through the use of a surface overflow and pre-filter sponge the water is guided to the Midiflotor (protein skimmer). From there it is pumped to a biological trickle-filter, filled with Bactoballs, and through the Nitratreductor. A second pump with a capacity of 1,000 l/h pumps the water back to the aquarium. With the Marin 500, existing aquaria can be changed into a powerful seawater tanks without modification. |
