| Many species of zooplankton from sea- and freshwater can be cultivated in this reactor. The plankton is feed with microalgae from the plankton light reactor. The zooplankton has a great growth potential. Under optimal algae nutrition, the number of rotifers (Branchionus) may double during four days.
