Fluval ProVac is a batteryless, motor driven powerful Gravel Cleaner for aquariums from 20 up to 60 cm in the heigth. This gravel cleaner works with 12V power supply. No more battery changes! The dual density filter cartridge ensures effective cleaning without polluting the aquarium water. Beside a modern design, the Fluval ProVac comes with a lot of additional features like a LED lighting for cleaning dark edges in the aquarium or a adaptor for water changes. With this adaptor and a separate hose the Fluval proVac can be used for water changes. The water with the sludge are pumped into a bucket.

Habe den ProVac (Verpackung 12V/8.5W) heute das erste Mal eingesetzt.
Schön langes Kabel, Verarbeitung für den Preis sehr gut.
Saugleistung dürfte aber doch merklich stärker sein :o(
An stelle eines 2 Stufenschalters wäre ein Potentiometer für Drehzahlregelung schön, damit man die Saugleistung passend zum Grund und Steck-Aufsatz entsprechend einstellen kann,
dass man auch ein 60cm hohes Becken mit dem 2. Aufsatz noch anständig sauber kriegt.Игорь МинВоды at 19.06.2021:

Handy unit for tidying up between water changes. It does have one significant flaw - when you switch it off, or when you pull it out of the water, all of the larger debris which gathers around the intake (so cannot go through to the filter gauze) simply falls back into the tank! Need to invert it before pulling it out. I purchased online because the ProVac is not available in Australia. The power supply accepts our 240v so just needed a European adaptor for the plug and it works just fine.Samantas B. at 11.09.2018:

Good bottom vacuum cleaner. Your motor guarantees a continuous aspiration. I use it, moreover, to extract water from the acurium in the water changes. Very useful

Does it need to ge a Fluval one? I cannot find any Information regarding the hose needed.
