• Tropic Marin Elimi-NP is a liquid carbon dosing concentrate for nutrient reduction for advanced reef aquarists. The nutrient conditions for the lower animals in the reef aquarium (corals, sponges, and others) are ideal, if nitrate and phosphate are present in the lowest concentrations. Tropic Marin Elimi-NP is concentrated organic carbon for the effective and efficient reduction of nitrate and phosphate in reef aquariums through the introduction of these compounds into additional biomass. Tropic Marin Elimi-NP is suitable for all saltwater aquariums with increased phosphate concentration and a low nitrate-phosphate ratio, as frequently observed in reef aquariums with a calcium reactor.

  Use of Tropic Marin Elimi-NP:
  Dosage: Begin with a daily dose of 0.1 ml per 100 l (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume and increase the dosage after 2 weeks, observing the animals and checking the nitrate and phosphate concentrations, by 0.1 ml per 100 l (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume. Dose Tropic Marin Elimi-NP into the flow of the pump to ensure proper distribution throughout the aquarium.

  Maximum dose: A daily dose of 0.5 ml per 100 l (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume should not be exceeded. The concentration of phosphate in the reef aquarium should only be lowered slowly to avoid possible adjustment stress in the organisms. At the same time, the nitrate-phosphate ratio should not exceed 10:1.

  Great carbon dosing option. A bit pricy but my corals love it! I now dose 3 ml/day for a 420 lit tank. i have a lot of heavily fed fish.
