| JBL Osmosis 120 is a complete ready to use Osmosis unit with fine filetr and carbone filter. The unit removes pollutants (pesticides, heavy metals, nitrite, nitrate etc.), salts and sources of hardness from tap water, leaving soft, extremely pure water which may be used as the basis for the care of all types of aquarium fish. Even bacteria and viruses are largely removed. The JBL Osmosis 120 unit operates without electricity or chemicals, simply using pressure from the tap. The membrane is a TFC (Thin Film Composite) polyamide/polysulfon membran. This mebrane conforms to the latest standards in reverse osmosis technology and is resistant to bacteria and largely resistant to chlorine. The JBL Osmosis 120 is equipped with a sediment pre filter (pore size 5 µ) and a activated carbon filter. This enables the unit to be used irrespective of sediment and/or chlorine pollution of the untreated water. Technical data JBL Osmosis 120: Maximum capacity: 136 l in 24 hours at a temperature of 24 °C and a minimum pressure of 3 bar. Capacity in practice: approx. 60-100 l in 24 hours at a temperature of between 10 and 15 °C and a pressure of 3-6 bar. Retention rate: 95 % at a minimum pressure of 3 bar. Permeat-concentrate ratio: the unit is equipped with an automatic precision flow regulator. This ensures that the quantities of permeate and concentrate are always perfectly balanced (min. 1:4), providing the best conditions for the membrane. This, in turn, dispenses with the tedious tasks of having to adjust the flow rate and rinsing the membrane with a rinse valve. Connection: 3/4 Zoll tap connector fitting. |
