Tubifex worms are very popular with fish and aquatic turtles and are an easily assimilated source of protein. As fresh or frozen Tubifex worms can be a source of dangerous pathogens, we prefer the freeze-drying technique, which effectively eliminates all pathogens while preserving delicate vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids, proteins and other essential substances.
