CO2-Technic

Aquarium CO2 equipment supports controlled carbon-dioxide supply for aquatic plants. This broad category includes complete systems, pressure cylinders, regulators, solenoid valves, diffusers, reactors, hoses, long-term tests, biological CO2 products, refills and spare parts from several manufacturers.

Begin with the aquarium volume, planting, desired type of CO2 supply and the components already available. Pressurised-gas and biological systems operate differently. Cylinders, regulators and threads must be compatible, while diffusers or reactors must suit the aquarium size, filter circuit and intended flow. Electrical solenoid valves also require the correct operating voltage and connection.

A complete setup needs controlled dosing and reliable monitoring. Install and operate every component according to its instructions, secure pressure cylinders correctly and adjust the supply gradually while observing fish and other animals. A single accessory or refill product is not a complete CO2 system.
