BioCeraMax 1200 is an intensive filter material for effective biological filtration of aquarium water. The fine-pored material provides a huge surface area of approx. 1200 m²/l for colonizing bacteria of the Nitrosomas and Nitrobacter species. Pollutants such as ammonium/ammonia and nitrite are quickly removed and the aquarium water becomes clear, clean and healthy. To maintain the optimal filter characteristics, the filter material should be rinsed regularly and replaced after approx. 6-12 months.
