Specialised filter media for marine aquariums

The filter media in this category are used to influence specific substances in marine aquariums in a controlled way. The current range includes a Tropic Marin supplementary cartridge for phosphate control and Aqua Medic Sulfur Pearls for compatible filtration systems. These products are not complete marine filtration systems.

Use such media only for a clearly defined purpose and with suitable filter equipment. Check the relevant water values, required quantity, flow rate and the requirements of the respective product. Phosphate adsorption and sulphur-based filtration work according to different principles and must not be treated as equivalent methods.

Monitor the relevant water parameters during use and follow all start-up, replacement and safety instructions. With complex or biologically active filtration methods, gradual and traceable adjustments are particularly important.
