Choose TetraPlant CO2 Optimat or the matching refill

The TetraPlant CO2 Optimat is a compact carbon-dioxide supply system for smaller planted aquariums. The TetraPlant CO2 Depot is the matching refill and is not a complete system on its own.

Before ordering, distinguish between the complete Optimat kit and the replacement depot. Check the stated aquarium size, the existing components and how the CO2 is introduced into the water. This system operates differently from a pressurised-gas installation with regulator and solenoid valve.

Install and use the system according to the product instructions and adjust the supply cautiously. Plant demand varies with light, plant mass and growth. Observe fish and other animals and monitor CO2 with a suitable method; a refill or small system should not be treated as an unlimited additional source.
