Artemia culture foods provide fine suspended nutrients for brine shrimp after hatching. The current range includes Hobby Mikrozell, Hobby Liquizell and JBL Artemio Fluid. These products are intended for culturing Artemia and are not substitutes for Artemia eggs or hatching salt.

Select the food according to the culture stage and product instructions. Fine or liquid foods disperse differently in the water, so dosage must be controlled carefully. Overfeeding clouds the culture water, reduces water quality and can cause the culture to fail.

Feed small amounts and add more only when the previous portion has been consumed or cleared as described by the manufacturer. Maintain suitable aeration, temperature and hygiene, and observe the Artemia and water condition throughout the culture period.
