PVC tank connectors create sealed passages through aquarium or filter-tank walls. This category includes bulkhead fittings with clamping nut, solvent-weld spigot or male thread, as well as outlet strainers, overflow combs and holders. These components serve different positions in an aquarium plumbing system.

Before ordering, determine pipe size, internal and external fitting dimensions, required thread or solvent-weld connection and the exact glass-hole diameter. Glass drilling must be suitable for the aquarium construction. Allow enough space for seals, nuts and connected pipework and avoid mechanical stress on the glass.

Fit seals in the specified position, tighten without overtightening and support the adjoining pipework. Complete a controlled leak test before commissioning the aquarium. Overflow combs and outlet strainers must also be matched to the intended flow and animal-safety requirements.
