Choose Aqua Medic filter media for the measured task

Aqua Medic filter media in this category perform different chemical and biological tasks. The range includes phosphate adsorber, denitrification media, biodegradable organic granules and activated-carbon pellets. They should not be described collectively as nitrate-removal media.

Select antiphos Fe for its stated phosphate-control application, Deniballs or Denigran only for the compatible denitrification method, NP biograin for the specified nutrient-reduction system and carbolit according to the intended activated-carbon use. Check freshwater or marine suitability, required reactor or filter placement and flow conditions.

Measure relevant water values before and during use. Start biologically active or strongly adsorbing methods cautiously and follow the specified quantity and replacement interval. These media support targeted filtration but do not replace investigation of persistent nutrient sources.
