Choose external-filter accessories for the existing installation

External-filter accessories in this category support water intake, return flow, hose routing, prefiltration and maintenance. The current range includes EHEIM hoses, installation sets for suction and pressure sides, a prefilter, flow pipe and cleaning brushes.

Start with the exact filter, hose diameter and the side of the circuit on which the component is required. Installation Kit 1 and Installation Kit 2 serve different sides of the system. Hoses, pipes and fittings must match in internal diameter and connection type, while a prefilter must suit the intake arrangement.

Plan the route without kinks or strain, secure connections and test the complete circuit for leaks. Use cleaning brushes of a suitable diameter and length and stop the filter before dismantling components. Accessories should improve serviceability without unnecessarily restricting flow.
