Overview
Taxiphyllum alternans is a creeping moss that is often found in the splash zone of cascades and waterfalls. It looks very similar to Taxiphyllum barbieri and Vesicularia montagnei - but it is much more densely branched and softer in structure. Like many mosses, it grows well and is quite easy to care for. Good lighting and CO2 levels promote particularly compact growth. Taxiphyllum alternans 'Taiwan' is highly recommended for nano aquariums and delicate aquascaping landscapes.
