Without opening the filter canister the system can be effectively cleaned thanks to the revolutionary Backwash technology. Simply operate the lever in the lid and water flows in the reverse direction cleaning the filter as it does so. This is still possible if the filter housing was buried into the ground so as not to spoil the appearance of the garden. The integrated pressure pump also allows higher-lying streams to be supplied. It can even be used below the water level of the pond. The supplied super-silent EHEIM FLOW energy-saving pump is perfectly coordinated to the EHEIM PRESS pond filter and is extremely low-maintenance.
