Easy-Life Bio-Exit Green is a new way to prevent excessive algae growth in the aquarium in a biological way, without chemicals. When used correctly, Easy-Life Bio-Exit Green is not harmful to fish, plants, shrimps and other invertebrates.
A biological imbalance can cause plants to grow poorly and leak sugars. These sugars can serve as food sources for unsightly algae (such as beard algae, filamentous algae, brush algae and brown algae). Bio-Exit Green restores this biological balance by countering the leakage of sugars in plants by offering a unique mix of specific organic acids and growth stimulators.
Dosage Easy-Life Bio-Exit Green: Shake bottle before use. Remove activated carbon. Do not overdose. Balance treatment during 2 weeks: day 1: 10 ml per 40 liters of water day 7: 10 ml per 40 liters of water day 14: change the water no water changes during the treatment. If the result is insufficient, this balance treatment can be repeated.
I've seen the warnings of using chemicals as algae treatment,but I decided to test this one since they advertise this as a "natural" remedy.
I am an experienced fishkeeper, and I dosed exactly the correct amount. In one hour, I noticed severe signs of stress in all my fish, they were swimming erratically and snails were climbing out of the water.
The whole time I had plenty of surface agitation with an airpump running, so oxygen could have not been the issue.
I quickly did a water change and added activated carbon to my filter. After some time, the fish were back to normal.
What worries me the most is that in nowhere in the bottle, or the manufacturers website they mention what the active ingredient in the product is.
Your mileage may vary of course, but I wouldn't put this unknown chemical anywhere near my tank again.
Taija T. at 01.01.2023: Fish showed visible signs of stress a couple of days and then they became sick. Instructions prohibit to change the water for 2 weeks. I had to change early after a week because of sickness outbreak in multiple fish. It didnt even stop green spot algae from spreading. I would not recommend.
