This high-quality activated carbon removes dissolved impurities, dyes, and unpleasant odors from the aquarium water, helping to maintain clear, clean water. It complements the mechanical and biological filtration provided by the AquaClear filter and contributes to overall water maintenance. Thanks to its porous structure, Fluval Activated Carbon has a large surface area for adsorbing unwanted substances. The filter media is simply placed in the media basket of the AquaClear filter, where aquarium water flows evenly through it.
