JBL ProFlora CO2 Advanced Set

With the CO2 system JBL ProFlora CO2 Advanced Set you are well equipped and have a CO2 system that brings decisive advantages. There are three models to choose from, which are identically equipped except for the CO2 pressurized gas cylinder. In addition to an effective CO2 diffuser, the JBL ProFlora CO2 Advanced systems have a solenoid valve for night shut-off and a pressure gauge with two pressure gauges that indicate the working pressure and the false pressure. The night shut-off can be easily controlled by a timer and serves to switch off the CO2 system during the night. During darkness the water plants do not absorb CO2. Without night shut-off, the oxygen content in the aquarium can change negatively.

Why a CO2 system is necessary in the aquarium:: Plants provide the aquarium with vital oxygen for your aquarium inhabitants, prevent algae growth, remove pollutants, provide hiding places and reduce pathogens. Plant fertiliser systems with CO2 cylinders supply the plants with the main nutrient CO2 through the water. The plants absorb this and convert it into sugar and oxygen in photosynthesis with the help of light.

The CO2 systems of the JBL ProFlora Advanced series are available in three versions as Set U, Set M and Set V. Always included is the pressure reducer JBL ProFlora Regulator Professional with pressure gauges and solenoid valve (night switch-off). This pressure reducer can be used for both disposable and refillable bottles. The corresponding adapter is always included in the delivery.
