The natural smell and in particular the colours of the dried flowers create an enormous acceptance, even with very picky tortoise species. JBL ProTerra Florsil is the ideal complete food for your tortoises. Of course you can also collect green plant food and herbs to supplement their basic nutrition in summer. The other JBL ProTerra foods Vegabil, Fructil and Herbil are an ideal and species-appropriate supplement to JBL ProTerra Florsil. Tortoises like variety.

JBL ProTerra Florsil

1. 56 % flower content for a balanced diet, as tortoises are extremely fond of eating flowers in the wild
   
2. high acceptance due to the natural colours of the dried flowers
   
3. Turtles react strongly to bright colours. The best food is of no use if the turtles do not accept it!
   
4. healthy mixture of wild growing flowers and pure vegetable, extra flat sticks, as only the mixture leads to a species-appropriate diet

Tortoises are gourmets and certainly won’t eat everything. However they do enjoy some foods they shouldn’t eat at all. Tomatoes, citrus fruit and flesh are unsuitable. The composition and enrichment with healthy vegetables of JBL ProTerra was developed in cooperation with Dr. Petra Kölle at the University in Munich. The species-appropriate mix of vegetables and other plant components is important. Vegetables, fruits and blossoms should only be added to the basic plant food in the right proportions, as is done correctly and scientifically in the JBL ProTerra range with Herbil, Vegabil, Fructil and Florsil.

Feed the contents of the lid dry or slightly moistened once or twice a day. Remove any uneaten food daily
