Overview
The multistage filtration system uses up to three filter chambers. Mechanical and biological filtration are complemented by activated carbon, which binds dissolved impurities and unwanted substances in the aquarium water. The removable filter sponges make cleaning and regular maintenance easier. The INX 150 offers several outlet options for flexible control of water movement. The direction of the water flow can be adjusted, and the flow rate is continuously variable. The spray bar and diffuser create different flow patterns, while the integrated Venturi system introduces additional air into the water flow as needed to support oxygen enrichment.
The filter can also assist with partial water changes. Simply connect a suitable hose to the water outlet. For the INX 150 and the INX 100, 200, and 250 models, Tetra specifies a hose with an inner diameter of 12 mm.
