Overview
The multistage filtration system uses up to three filter chambers. Filter sponges with different pore sizes provide mechanical filtration while also offering a surface for beneficial microorganisms to colonize. Activated carbon is also used as a filter medium to remove dissolved impurities from the aquarium water. Several outlet options allow flexible control of water movement. In addition to the standard water outlet, a spray bar and a diffuser can be used. The adjustable outlet direction and adjustable air intake through the Venturi system allow water flow and oxygen enrichment to be tailored to the aquarium's needs.
Maintenance and water changes are also convenient. The filter cartridges are easy to remove and clean. The included hose adapter allows a suitable hose to be connected so aquarium water can be pumped out directly through the filter, for example during a water change.
