daytime unix WRGB LED Lighting silver

The daytime unix WRGB LED Light silver offers a powerful and highly versatile lighting solution for demanding freshwater aquariums and aquascapes. Its silver-anodized aluminum profile has a refined, understated, and timeless appearance that blends particularly well with light-colored aquarium hoods and modern aquarium designs. Inside, a sophisticated WRGB system uses separate color channels. daytime combines carefully selected individual LEDs for white, blue, red, and green, supplementing the red channel with Hyper Red at 660 nm. This creates a broad light spectrum that supports both natural color rendering and plant growth.

The white LEDs operate at approximately 6500 Kelvin and provide clear, natural base lighting. Royal Blue at 450 nm intensifies blue tones, while Glow Red at 625 nm and Hyper Red at 660 nm effectively highlight red plants and fish in particular. Neon Green at 530 nm complements the spectrum and contributes to vivid, balanced color rendering. The Hyper Red component at 660 nm falls within a spectral range that is particularly important for photosynthesis. This can provide excellent lighting for plants, especially in demanding planted aquariums and aquascapes. With a color rendering index of CRI >90 and an efficiency of up to 125 lumens per watt, the daytime unix delivers high light quality while operating efficiently. Colors appear natural, contrasts are clear, and the entire underwater landscape takes on a striking sense of depth and brilliance.

When used with the optional daytime Smart Control SC25, the four color channels can be controlled individually. This allows the light color to be tailored to the plants, fish, or personal preferences. The color temperature can be adjusted across a very wide range of approximately 2700 to 20,000 Kelvin. With a suitable controller, realistic daily lighting cycles can also be simulated, including sunrise, sunset, dawn and dusk colors, moonlight, and other lighting effects. Without a separate controller, the light operates with all color channels at full output, producing balanced light at approximately 6500 Kelvin.

The daytime unix is also designed for long-term use above the aquarium. The LED components are fully embedded in a transparent, specialized potting compound. This complete encapsulation reliably protects the electronics from moisture and meets the IP67 protection rating. The encapsulation is also impact- and abrasion-resistant and can be cleaned and polished back to a high gloss if needed. The housing is made of solid aluminum and features a matte silver-anodized finish in this version. In addition to its premium appearance, the aluminum profile dissipates heat, helping ensure reliable, long-lasting LED operation.

Internally fitted, extendable telescopic support rods made of solid aluminum are included. These allow direct adjustment to the aquarium's length. The Inline Adapter System also allows the light to be combined with various mounting options, making it suitable for open aquariums, enclosed hoods, or use as a suspended light. Power is supplied by a separately available daytime Converter. Different power ratings and accessories are available depending on the light size and desired controls. Multiple unix lights can also be operated together using suitable splitters and appropriately sized Converters. The daytime unix WRGB LED Light silver combines high light output, a broad WRGB spectrum, flexible control options, and exceptional build quality in a modular lighting system.

A suitable daytime Converter is required to operate the daytime unix WRGB LED Light silver. It is available separately and must be sized according to the power requirements of the selected light size. An optional lighting controller or dimmer can be installed between the light and the Converter. Multiple unix lights can also be operated together using suitable splitters, provided their combined power requirements do not exceed the capacity of the Converter used.
