Fluval Zeo-Carb for AC Filter series

Fluval Zeo-Carb for AC Filters is a 2-in-1 chemical filter medium designed for Fluval AquaClear AC filters. It combines zeolite and activated carbon in a single filter medium, thereby supporting particularly versatile water care. Dissolved impurities, odors, and discoloration are bound, while harmful ammonia is simultaneously removed from the aquarium water. The activated carbon adsorbs unwanted organic substances and contributes to clear, clean water. The zeolite component helps control ammonia and can be a useful addition, especially in newly set up or heavily loaded aquariums. Zeo-Carb is simply placed in the media basket of the AquaClear filter and is evenly flushed through during normal filter operation.

Fluval Zeo-Carb for AC filters is available in versions suitable for the AC20/AC30 and AC50 models. Please select the appropriate version based on your existing AquaClear filter model. The filter media is suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Care instructions
For optimal results, Fluval recommends replacing Zeo-Carb approximately every 4 weeks. When using medications in the aquarium, Zeo-Carb should generally not be used at the same time, as activated carbon can remove active ingredients from the water. After completing a treatment, the filter media can help remove residues from the aquarium water.
