  • The JBL ProAir a100 is the next step up in performance within the ProAir series and is recommended for aquariums that require noticeably more powerful aeration - for example, those with a higher stocking density, warm temperatures, or at night to stabilize the oxygen balance. With a flow rate of 100 l/h at > 80 mbar and only 2.5 W, it is efficiently dimensioned and designed for tanks of approx. 60-200 l. The air volume can be adjusted as required (from a100), allowing the surface movement and bubble formation to be specifically adjusted. Sound-absorbing construction and vibration-damping feet ensure quiet continuous operation, the noise level is 39 dB(A).

  • What size aquarium is the ProAir a100 designed for?

    For aquariums approx. 60-200 liters.

What is the performance of the ProAir a100?

    100 l/h flow rate at > 80 mbar, power consumption 2.5 W.

Can I regulate the air flow?

Yes. The required air flow is adjustable.

How loud is the pump when in operation?

The noise level is specified as 39 dB(A) (at 1 l/min).

What should I do if the air flow is too low?

Typical causes are a dirty air filter, a clogged diffuser, or a defective diaphragm. Clean/replace the filter, replace the diffuser stone, or replace the diaphragm accordingly.

Why should the pump not run “idle”?

Operating without a connected hose/air vent increases the noise level and leads to premature diaphragm wear.

    How is the pump maintained?

Check the air filter at the air inlet regularly and replace it if necessary, check the diaphragm regularly and replace it if defective. Do not immerse the device in water, only clean it dry.
