JBL ProTerra Fructil
- 47 % fruit content for a natural diet, as tortoises eat many fallen fruits in their natural habitat
- its natural fruit smell and fruit colours creates high acceptance
- Turtles react very strongly to attractive smells! High acceptance is very important, especially when newly acquired animals need a quick burst of energy
- balanced mixture of natural fruits with purely vegetable loops (approx. 1 cm diameter with fruit & alfalfa, spinach, turnip, thyme, basil and other herbs), as only the mixture leads to a species-appropriate diet
- contains: dried fruits (blackcurrant, apple, mulberry, barberry) and plant loops with natural vitamins and minerals
- without added colourings and preservatives

Tortoises are gourmets and certainly wont eat everything. However they do enjoy some foods they shouldnt eat at all. Tomatoes, citrus fruit and flesh are unsuitable. The composition and enrichment with healthy vegetables of JBL ProTerra was developed in cooperation with Dr. Petra Kölle at the University in Munich. The species-appropriate mix of vegetables and other plant components is important. Vegetables, fruits and blossoms should only be added to the basic plant food in the right proportions, as is done correctly and scientifically in the JBL ProTerra range with Herbil, Vegabil, Fructil and Florsil.

Feed the contents of the lid dry or slightly moistened once or twice a day. Remove any uneaten food daily
