OASE Internal Filter BioPlus 50

The OASE BioPlus 50 Internal Filter is a space-saving, powerful internal filter for aquariums with a volume of up to 50 liters. Its compact design allows discreet installation in an aquarium corner, where it reliably keeps the water clear and well oxygenated. With a flow rate of up to 350 liters per hour, the filter ensures continuous water circulation. The integrated outlet nozzles create even surface agitation, support oxygen enrichment, and help prevent biofilm from forming on the water surface.

The large filter sponges provide both mechanical and biological filtration. Suspended particles and impurities are reliably trapped, while the porous structure of the filter foam provides a large surface area for beneficial filter bacteria to colonize. Fine filter floss can also be used to remove even very fine particles that cause cloudy water. The EasyClean mechanism makes maintenance especially convenient. Only the compact filter unit needs to be removed for cleaning, while the pump unit remains in the aquarium. This greatly simplifies regular filter maintenance and eliminates the need to remove the entire assembly each time.

The filter foams can be removed individually. This allows the filter media to be cleaned at separate intervals, helping preserve beneficial bacteria. With a power consumption of just 5 watts, the OASE BioPlus 50 Internal Filter is highly energy efficient and exceptionally quiet. Suction cups allow easy, secure installation in an aquarium corner. If needed, the filter can also be retrofitted with a compatible OASE HeatUp adjustable heater. This combines filtration and heating in one compact, space-saving unit.
