Overview
Filtration combines mechanical and biological stages with activated carbon. The filter sponges trap debris while also providing a surface for beneficial filter bacteria to colonize. The activated carbon additionally helps remove dissolved impurities and unwanted substances from the water. The water flow rate is continuously adjustable to suit the fish population, planting, and desired current intensity. The direction of the water flow can also be adjusted. Three different outlet optionsincluding a spray bar and a diffuserallow for flexible control of water movement. The integrated Venturi aeration system can further enrich the aquarium water with oxygen.
Maintenance is also designed to be straightforward. The filter sponges are easy to remove and clean. For partial water changes, a suitable hose can be connected directly to the filter outlet. The Tetra INX 100 requires a hose with an inner diameter of 12 mm.
