Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos rapid removes extremely rapid and highly-effective increased phosphate contents in fresh and marine water aquaria. Excessive concentrations of phosphates in the water can lead to strong alage growth and a reduction in the growth of corals and aquatic plants. This is why it is important to monitor the phosphate concentration in an aquarium regularly and maintain the level in the optimum range for the organisms in question (freshwater: <0.3-0.5 mg/l, saltwater: 0.02-0.15 mg/l, reef aquaria: 0.02-0.05 mg/l). An accumulation of phosphates in aquarium water from various sources (p.e. food) sometimes makes it necessary to take rapid action to bring the phosphate concentration back down to the recommended level. Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos rapid is a highly-effective solution which binds phosphate at lightning speed and eliminates them from water, efficiently reducing the phosphate concentration in next to no time to between 0.2-0.4 mg/l. Usage of Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos rapid:
Measure the phosphate concentration in your aquarium water. It is recommended to reduce the phosphate concentration by no more than 0.3 mg/l per day, i.e. by adding a maximum of 3 ml of Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos rapid to 100 l aquarium water.
