Overview
Tropic marine phosphate test for the determination of the phosphate concentration in fresh water and sea water. Phosphates are indispensable important food constituents of all plants and for the energy metabolism of each living cell. If the plants do not take up sufficient phosphate, the equilibrium of the phosphate cycle is disturbed. Strong alga growth or a growth inhibition with stony corals is the results. With the Tropic Marin PO4-Test the phosphate content can be determined using a finely-tuned colour chart which has a concentration range of 0.03 - 3 ppm.
