Aqua Medic arctic breeze -akvaariotuulettimet voidaan helposti kiinnittää akvaarion runkoon. Se jäähdyttää vettä lisäämällä haihtumista. Koko rakenne on valmistettu korroosionkestävästä muovista ja alumiinista.
Tuuletinpatteri Aqua Medic arctic breeze on kiinnitetty akvaarion reunaan siten, että jatkuva ilmavirtaus leijuu veden pinnalla. Tämä johtaa lisääntyneeseen haihtumiseen. Tässä prosessissa syntyvä haihdutuskylmä jäähdyttää akvaariota jopa 4 celsiusastetta. Tuulettimen akku asetetaan akvaarion reunaan ja kiinnitetään kuusiokoloruuveilla. Se tulee kiinnittää siten, että tuulettimet puhaltavat ilmaa veden pinnan yli - parhaiten pitkittäissuunnassa. Säädettävän tehopaketin ansiosta puhaltimen nopeutta voidaan säätää jäähdytystarpeen mukaan. Normaalisti riittää, että puhaltimia käytetään alhaisella tasolla (3 4,5 V). Sitten he ovat melkein hiljaa. Lämpöjaksojen aikana nopeus voidaan nostaa 12 V:iin.

I have a 300L Marin aquarium with sump minus rocks ,I placed it on the sump below in the cabinet firt but I was disappointed for the first night cause it cooled the aquarium only 1 centigrade ,I thought this is another bad purchase online ,I decided to instal it on main aquarium and I did ,result was really improved by 4c cooling down the aquarium at it's full power ,its build is decent with aluminum cover looks really solid, the only down side is they promote this fan as quite near Silent which is not when you run it at it's full power, over all compair to chiler price this is a must and if you combine it with your room AC at hot pick of day and a cheap termostat controler with prob ,you won't need anything else.Simon F. at 23.09.2018:
I bought this to fit on my Reefer 450 sump. It is surprisingly powerfull and works pretty well as long as I leave one of the cabinet doors open. There is also a good range of fan speed control.
