Works fine, moves water good, but it is more noisy than any other pump i have. The noise it makes is just terrible. I do not recommend it for use in livingroom. Connections are good but plastic feels cheap low quality.James S. at 31.01.2021:
I am relay disappointed with the pumps. When starting the pump, a strange noise sound (impeller vibrations) will come out of the pump. Secondly the pump impeller shaft is of metal not ceramic. An excellent little pump, stronger than its small size indicates. Simple output control makes it very flexible, and the build is solid Eheim quality.The Eheim Compact 1000 is very handy to use for airating water in storage before a water change, and then for moving water in and out of your aquarium. I've had mine for several years, it has seen rough use without ever letting me down. Recommended !
