I decided to purchase this due to the fish saver grate. It's so much better than my old one, long enough for my tall tank so I don't have to put my whole arm in. The mechanism works very well and starts quickly, it doesn't scare the fish too much because it's over so quick. The clips are very useful as they both hold the pipe in the bucket and hold the hose on the side of the tank as I empty the bucket so the siphon doesn't need to be restarted.
