AQUAEL Filter Modul Neo Bio 1000

The AQUAEL Neo Bio 1000 Filter Module is the matching expansion module for the AQUAEL Neo Bio 1000 Internal Filter. It increases the available filtration area and allows customized expansion of mechanical, biological, and chemical water treatment without having to replace the entire filter. The module connects directly to the main Neo Bio 1000 unit. Simply remove the cover from the bottom of the existing filter module and attach the additional module. Depending on the aquarium size and desired filtration capacity, multiple expansion modules can be connected in sequence.

Each AQUAEL Neo Bio 1000 Filter Module features two baskets for loose filter media and two specialized filter cartridges. It includes two containers of NatureMAX Bio filter media with a total volume of 0.4 liters, along with two CarboMAX filter cartridges made of filter fleece and activated carbon. The highly porous structure of NatureMAX Bio provides a large surface area for nitrifying bacteria to colonize, supporting the biological breakdown of pollutants in the aquarium. CarboMAX activated carbon helps remove unwanted chemical compounds and discoloration from the water. The additional filter baskets allow flexible combinations of filter media to suit the aquarium's individual requirements. Different filter media can also be easily replaced at separate intervals. This allows filtration performance to be expanded as needed while supporting the aquarium's biological stability. The integrated coarse prefilter sponge traps debris and also helps protect shrimp, juvenile fish, and small aquarium inhabitants from being drawn into the filter.

AQUAEL recommends the following number of filter modules based on aquarium size:
1 filter module for aquariums up to 250 liters
2 filter modules for aquariums from 250 to 350 liters
3 filter modules for aquariums from 350 to 450 litersThis allows the AQUAEL Neo Bio 1000 Internal Filter to grow with the aquarium's needs. Additional filtration area and more filter media are available without having to replace the entire filter unit.
