The quartz gravel is water-neutral, CO2-resistant, and does not harden the aquarium water. This ensures it remains color-stable over time and can also be used in aquariums with CO2 fertilization. The 1-2 mm grain size is fine enough for plants with delicate root systems while also providing a good surface for beneficial bacteria in the substrate.

  Thanks to its rounded edges, Dennerle Kristall Quartz Gravel Diamond Black is also suitable for bottom-dwelling fish. The fine grain size reduces the accumulation of larger debris in the gaps, making aquarium maintenance easier. The gravel is free of harmful substances and is permanently colored with iron oxide to remain water-neutral.
