Dennerle Plants Power Caps are fertilizer capsules designed to provide targeted nutrient supply to aquarium plants via their roots. They are placed directly into the substrate and slowly release their nutrients to the plants over an extended period of time. This makes the Power Caps particularly suitable for plants that absorb a lot of nutrients through their root systems.
The fertilizer capsules are ideal for aquarium plants with strong root systems, such as Cryptocorynes, Echinodorus, Vallisnerias, and many stem plants. Large solitary plants also benefit from direct nutrient supply to the root zone. The Power Caps contain essential plant nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, iron, manganese, and trace elements. This supports healthy growth and allows the plants to develop strong leaves and a stable root system over the long term.
Application is simple: Use tweezers to press the capsules deep into the substrate, as close as possible to the roots of the plants to be fertilized. There, the nutrients remain available to the plants for a period of about one to two months. Dennerle Plants Power Caps are particularly suitable for top-dressing existing aquariums, for targeted feeding of individual plants, or for supporting heavy-feeding root plants.
