Dr. Bassleer Biofish Food Umami XXL is designed for very large ornamental fish, featuring a correspondingly coarse pellet structure. The characteristic umami flavor makes the food particularly appealing and can encourage feeding. Umami is considered the fifth basic taste and is characterized by a savory, intense flavor.
With a pellet size of 2.8-3.2 mm, the XXL variety is intended for fish measuring approximately 15 cm in body length or larger. The larger pellet size is easily consumed by robust fish and sinks slowly through the various water zones.
Dr. Bassleer Biofish Food Umami XXL is suitable as a staple food for large freshwater and saltwater fish. Thanks to the combination of coarse granules and high palatability, it is particularly well-suited for large species that prefer a more substantial pellet.
