Overview
EHEIM Phosphate out is soaked with a ferrous compound used for chemical filtration. Binds the phosphate to the iron and removes it from the water circulation. EHEIM Phophate out reduces the content of phosphate and inhibits the growth of algae in the aquarium. Free from harmful substances. When the level of phosphate in the water increases again, the remover is exhausted ans has to be replaced. Single use only. For the use in fresh and marine water. Content: 390g incl. Net bag.
Sameer A. at 27.09.2019: Placed in an overflow compartment in the included filter bag at the recommended dosage, the phosphate level was measured with Tropic Marin PO4 Pro test. It fell from 2.5 mg/l to 0.1 mg/l in 24 hours. Two weeks later another test was performed and the Phosphate level remained unchanged at 0.1mg/l. The price is economical compared to other brands. The product works perfect and I highly recommend it.
